MM-S50MV, mounted with Broadcom Inc.-manufactured ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, is a board used by connecting to SONY board microcontroller, SPRESENSE.
- It is divided into sensor module and IF module and connected with FFC cable for flexible use.
- It is used by mounting on the MAIN board of SPRESENSE.
- The Board may be used with another board stacked up (by using different ports)
- A microcontroller is mounted on the sensor module for control, etc. Data may be retrieved only by sending commands to SPRESENSE.
- LED is mounted on the reverse side of the sensor module to display status, etc.
- The sensor module has the same board size as the camera module for SPRESENSE.

Broadcom AFBR-S50MV85G is mounted on the Product

Broadcom-made AFBR-S50MV85G is mounted on the Product, which enables high-precision 3D distance measurement and high-speed sampling with infrared laser and multiple light receiving elements.
Distance measurement is 0.05 -10m (minimum accuracy : 0.1mm) .
A measurement is possible at 32 points with maximum 256 frames/second.
It is designed to prevent mutual interference with simultaneous use of multiple sensors. In addition, the Product has an advantage in ambient lighting so it may be used in darkness or outdoors.
